FACEBOOK EVENT:

https://www.facebook.com/events/627630614093986/

To further promote the tradition and break every trace of cultural boundaries between our community, Independence High School's Vietnamese Student Association hosts an annual cultural show which is known as IHS VSA Asia By Night to advocate and encourage the Vietnamese tradition for students, as well as non-Vietnamese, students to be more aware and appreciative of the heritage.

This year, we are not going to merely base the show on the history of the Vietnamese people and modernizing it, but we will also allow opportunities for other clubs and organizations in order to help VSA celebrate the unification and acceptance between cultures featuring clubs such as:

Korean
Anime
Cloud 9
Magic
Mabuhay
Our Melody
Ukulele
Glee
Lunar Crew from Santa Teresa High School
Far East Dragon Lion Dance Association (FED)

and with performances of our own!

The objective of this event is to expose our audience to the different customs of each culture so, for that reason being, this year's chosen theme is:

"Unity of Cultures"
to unite and join our cultures as a whole in our community.

*****TICKETS ARE NOW BEING SOLD FROM ANY VSA, CLOUD 9, KOREAN AND ANIME CLUB OFFICER FOR $5 UNTIL FRIDAY AT THE DOOR FOR $8*****

After 26 successful years, we would like to make our (possibly last) 27th show extra special by hosting it in our school's newly renovated theatre centre of performing arts on Friday, May 19, 2017, from 7:00-10:00 PM.

We hope that you are all able to partake in this experience of the showcase!
