The 4-Year Planning/2020-2021 Scheduling Process has begun!

FALL - The counseling department provided students with a career assessment  for their appropriate grade level on Naviance and outlined the different post-secondary college and career pathways.  These tasks are designed to help students better understand their personality, strengths and interests as they begin to identify potential career paths.  They are then encouraged to select courses that best prepare them for their intended career.

DECEMBER-Students, with parent support, will finalize their 4-year plan.

FEBRUARY - Counselors will help students review their options for course scheduling. Counselors will have brief one-on-one meetings with students to review their 2020-2021 schedule selections. Parents should sign off on these scheduling choices.

MARCH-For those who selected an AP course, there will be an AP Information Night (Time/Location TBD). Final AP decisions must be made immediately after this night so that hiring and schedule building can begin.

MAY-Students will receive a printout of their 2020-2021 course selections to review for accuracy.

This completes the scheduling process for the 2020-2021 school year. Students will have an opportunity to revise their 4-year plan annually.
