General Information

Independence High School Guidance Department's primary goal is to assist students to discover what they are passionate about in school (classroom and campus-wide), finding their larger purpose (career and college), and creating a path towards both career and college--whether that be through course selection, participation in an academy, advanced courses, or choice of extra-curricular activities and connection to internships, work experience, and community involvement.

The IHS Guidance Center is located in N-02 (behind the main administration office)

Appointments can be made with Ms. Garcia or Ms. Quezada the Guidance Office or by calling them directly

Every effort will be made to return phone calls and emails within two business days. During peak times this timeline may not be possible. Students are assigned a guidance counselor based on their last name.

WALK-IN AVAILABILITY
